Our Kroger Trip This Week!

Finally, the Kroger Trip! I made my third Mega Sale trip today. I probably would have gone again earlier this week, but with all of the snow and ice, I decided to wait until today. Everyone was out today, Kroger was really packed! They were almost out of bread!

We didn’t really need much, but I wanted to stock up on canned veggies again. At $.26 a can without coupons, that’s really cheap! I also wanted to get some snacks for tomorrow, but most of my trip was for stocking up on Mega Sales!

I ended up with 60 Mega Sale items, which gave me $30 off of my total! The picture is after the jump!

Spent $58.75 OOP, Saved $85.87 or 59%

Like I said, lots of stock up items! Here’s what we got:

20 cans of Del Monte Vegetables (Green Beans and Corn)
6 cans of Hunt’s Tomato Sauce
15 cans of Hunt’s Whole Tomatoes
6 cans of Rotel
7 bags of Mahatma Brown Rice
2 Avocados
1 bunch of Organic Bananas
1 32 load All Free & Clear
3 Heinz Ketchup
2 Minute Maid Orange Juice
2 boxes of Wheat Thins
2 Knorr Pasta Sides
2 boxes Kettle Corn
1 French Onion Dip
1 Wholly Guacamole
1 Wholly Salsa
3 Philadelphia Cream Cheese
2 Velveeta Bricks
2 Hostess Fried Apple Pies
2 12-packs of Sprite Zero
2 12-packs of Coke Zero

I had one $5 off $50 Kroger purchase coupon left, so I used that, plus I got $30 off from having 60 Mega Sale items. I had a coupon for most of the items, except the Rotel and the ketchup, but they were really cheap at $.49 and $1.49 each, respectively. Again, we had 83 items in this transaction, so that’s about $.71 an item!!

Tomorrow, I’m going to go to CVS and Kroger. Doug wanted a few things at Kroger, but I wouldn’t let him get them because I wanted to look for coupons for those items first! We also forgot to get lunch meat.
