REPOST!
I’ve been looking around for the perfect binder. I wanted a larger one first and foremost. My previous binder was a 1.5″ binder. I wanted at least a 3″. I also like the zipper pockets in the front flat so I could store everything I needed: a pen, a mini calculator, and a small pair of scissors. I also liked that my old binder had a card slot so I could put my CVS ExtraCare card in there. I also really wanted a binder that had lockable rings. I want it to last longer than the cheap one I got at Target. It was great for my first binder, but now I know what I want!
I purchased the Case-it 3 Inch Zipper Binder. It doesn’t have all of the things that I was looking for, but it has most of them. It also has a removable expandafile that is on the inside of the binder. My last one had the expandafile on the outside, and the button popped off really fast. It doesn’t have a card holder, but it has a mesh zipper pocket on the front of the expandafile. That will work. This binder has a handle on the spine and comes with an optional shoulder strap. I don’t think that’s going to be necessary, but it’s funny! It’s a serious coupon binder!
I did a little reorganizing. I have the same sections as the last Coupon Binder, and I’ve added a section for Walgreens. I’ve also put quick tabs throughout the grocery section for different groups of items. I made my own tabs instead of using the ready made tabs. They didn’t stick out enough between the baseball card sheets.
It’s not totally done. I need to get some thicker business card sheets. The ones that I have are really flimsy. I use those for gift cards and store coupons that I get in the mail.
Well, what do you think?
