I’m the wife of Doug & the mom of three beautiful young children. I love to shop, I really love a good deal, but mostly, I love to save money. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but stick around and learn my strategies.
This blog started out in as a coupon blog, and since, then has morphed into a frugal living/lifestyle blog. In 2014, we bought a fixer-upper knowing that in order to turn this house into a home on our one-income budget, we had to learn how to do it ourselves.
Over the last 9 years, I’ve shown you DIY projects big & small, affordable home decor, creative organization strategies, and how to get it all for less. All of our DIY projects incorporate 4 things: Function, Organization, Style and Budget.

I grew up never using coupons ( I am after all a single live-alone 63 year old bachelor) but you sure have opened my eyes to the great possibilities ….thank you..I think I shall incorporate some of your procedures.
