It’s the last week of the State Fair of Texas for 2012, and we decided to go yesterday on $5 Dr Pepper Can Day. We had a great time and ate lots of yummy treats! To commemorate the occasion, I decided do some Texas Flag Nail Art!
For this manicure, I used Butter London Big Smoke, Zoya Purity, and Butter London Knees Up. In order to get the star on my thumb, I painted two coats of Zoya Purity onto a piece of Scotch Tape. Then, I used a star hole punch that I had in my scrapbooking kit to make my own nail sticker. When Big Smoke was dry, I placed the star onto my thumb and sealed it with OPI Top Coat. That’s it!
I love the metallic look of Knees Up and Big Smoke. I think it makes the flag pop! Don’t you?
