What’s more fun than Halloween Nail Art? There’s so many different designs to try!
I received several awesome colors in my October Julep Maven Box, and I really wanted to use Sofia in my Halloween nails since it glows in the dark, so this is what I came up with!
How I Did My Halloween Nail Art
Sofia is pretty sheer on its own, so in order to get it to show up more, I first painted my nails with two coats of Julep Eileen (white), then two coats of Julep Sofia.
After that was completely dry, I used Nail Striping Tape that I got on Amazon.com for less than $2, and I placed them randomly across my nails, 3 pieces per nail. I rubbed the tape to make sure it was completely against the nail, and pushed it into the cuticle to create a seal. Then, I painted a coat of Julep Leslie, and removed the tape. I did this nail by nail, because you need to remove the tape immediately. I used tweezers to make it easier. It’s key to remember which piece of tape is on the top, and go in that order.
Then, I sealed it with a top coat of Seche Vite!
I’m really happy with the way this turned out! The stripes glow in the dark, but I was unable to get a picture since I don’t have a black light.
These are perfect nails for Halloween!
