It’s that time of year again! Time for the 2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! This sale Is when Nordstrom rewards its cardholders by discounting new Fall merchandise before the season for a limited time. It’s my favorite time to stock up on basics like foundational pieces. I also do a little holiday shopping, and maybe pick up one or two new pieces to add to my wardrobe – all on sale!
Nordstrom launched their online preview of the sale on June 26th, and I scoured through the entire catalog so you don’t have to. I’ve been shopping this sale for almost 20 years, and I’ve seen lots of changes and constants over that time. I know what the deals are and what’s going to sell out quickly.
Today, I’m giving you my initial thoughts on the sale after perusing the preview, plus I’m showing you what’s on my wish list! Let’s get to it!
2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Thoughts
I’m pretty underwhelmed by the offerings again this year. Between ditching toxins in beauty products and buying into the Color Analysis Hype (I’m a Soft Summer), there isn’t much on my wish list this go around. If you’ve read my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Shopping Strategy post or my How to Shop the NAS Like a Pro post, you’ll know that I stay far, far away from the trendy stuff in the sale. There is a lot of really trendy 90’s stuff in the sale again this year.
Old Reliables are Still Here
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale tends to have some of the same things year after year. This is great because it allows you to add to your collection of Must-Haves each year. It’s reliable & dependable. Undies & bras are at the best price for restocks. Zella Activewear, Premium Denim, and shoes for Fall are all there again this year.
What’s On My Anniversary Sale Wishlist
Like I said, this year’s Wish List is much, much smaller. One of the things I usually love stocking up on are the Beauty Value Sets. But, since we’re trying to ditch toxins, there wasn’t much available for me. My budget is very happy, though!
Here’s what I’ve got on my Wish List for the 2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Basics
I always replace some base layers, so I’m going to get 3-4 new pair of my favorite underwear during the sale. These rarely go on sale throughout the year, so this is the best time to buy. They are comfortable, don’t ride up, and wash well in the regular cycle. I wear an XS.
New Fall Wardrobe Pieces
I don’t have much in the Fall Wardrobe department because I don’t really need anything. Like I said, I’m underwhelmed this year. I do need an oversized blazer, so I’m going to try this one.
Zella Activewear
I love Zella Activewear, and I already own a bunch, so I don’t need much. I absolutely love the Long Sleeve t-shirts, so I’m going to get 2 new colors (these sell out quickly). I size down to a XXS in the long sleeve t shirts. I may also get my favorite pocket leggings in navy.
Shoes
I don’t need many shoes, but I do love these Steve Madden mules in both raffia (for summer) and blue suede to go with all my navy clothing. They are at a great price point. I previously purchased these Nike Sneakers at a different retailer for a higher price, and they are wonderful if you’re in the market for some cool sneaks.
Beauty Exclusives
The Anniversary Sale is a great time to stock up on your favorite beauty items because the value sets can’t be beat. We’ve ditched the toxins so there isn’t as much that I can buy this year. I’m sticking to tried & true non-toxic brands like Osea, Salt & Stone and True Botanicals.
The Anniversary Sale is a great time to get a Beauty Tool at a discount. Some of the tools I have & love that are in the sale include the PMD Personal Microderm Kit, the NuFace Trinity Facial Toning Device set, and the PMD Facial Cleansing Device.
If I didn’t already have a red light mask, I’d be very interested in the Dr. Dennis Gross Red Light Mask. That thing never goes on sale.
2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
The 2025 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale starts with Icon Level Cardholders shopping at 12:01 AM EDT July 8th, Ambassador level on the 9th and Influencer level on the 10th. It opens to the public on July 12th, and prices go back up on August 4th. I’m an Ambassador level, so I will be shopping on the 9th.
