Since we’re building a home office, I’ve been hunting for the perfect accessories for the space. World Market Office Accessories are always unique and gorgeous. Today, I’m showing you some of my favorite World Market Office finds!
Our Home Office Shelving
Before we left on our trip, I decided to go ahead and build/finish the floating shelf project in Doug’s office. My thinking was that the paint needs to cure for 30 days, we were going to be gone for 30 days, and I figured it was better to let it cure while we were gone.
If you remember from my Instagram last summer, I had trouble waiting the full 30 days for the Guest Room/Craft Room Built Ins to cure. I think I cracked around the 20 day mark. Anyway, it took me less than a week to build them & paint them, and they’ll be ready for decorating the very second that we return home.

This is a crappy phone pic with bad lighting. I’ll take some better ones with my DSLR & do a whole recap post when I get home.
In the meantime, I’ve been mentally styling them. There’s stuff in the cabinets in there that needs to go on the shelves. There’s also stuff in the attic that we moved up there last year when we played musical office rooms that will help fill in the shelves. I’m pretty excited to get home and attack this project, as well as organize what’s left, including the attic where the stuff has been living.
World Market Office Decor Finds
I don’t need too much new stuff to decorate these shelves, but of course, I’ve had my eye on a few things. Several are at World Market, which always has lovely and unique decor & accessories

Marble Letter File
I had my eye on a different letter holder, but this Marble and Gold Metal Maxwell Letter Holder is so much better! I love the marble base, and that with the gold is going to pop against that dark stained countertop & navy wall. It’s regularly $24.99 and on sale for $18.74!
White Globe
Every Home Office/Study needs a globe, and I really light the lightness of this one. Because the wall is Navy, we need things that are going to contrast with the wall. This White Globe will be perfect and its also $18.74 (regularly $24.99)! They also have smaller globes in different colors.
Chalkboard Storage Box
I actually have a couple of these Owen Boxes with the Chalkboard sides from the pantry in our last house. I’m not really using them in this pantry, so I’m going to snag one for the office to corral things. It will look great on the white shelves! They’re regularly $24.99, on sale for $18.74. (I’m sensing a trend here…) These are no longer available, but I did find some similar ones here.
Farmhouse Sliding Calendar
I’ve been stalking this Sliding Calendar for a while. I seriously doubt that Doug will keep up with it, and the reviews are picky about the brackets not being sized for each label, but whatever. Its cute & it will look good on the shelves! Its normally $29.99, but on sale for $22.49! This version is no longer available but I found a similar version here.
Mini Desk Organizer
Doug’s work is all online, so he doesn’t need files or inboxes or any of that stuff. Really, he just needs a pen and maybe some note pads or post it notes. I don’t want stuff on the desk, so I think Marcus Mini Desk Organizer would be a good idea to have what he needs close by, but corralled. It’s normally $12.99, on sale for $9.74!

These are NOT on sale, but since Doug works from home, I thought these Honest Acronyms Sticky Notes would be funny to stock his mini organizer. They are just $9.99! These are no longer available at World Market, but I did find them here for a slightly higher price.
So these are the World Market Office Accessories that I’m loving for our new home office! I cannot wait to get home and load everything up!
