Target January 2015 Toy Clearance !

It’s time for the January 2015 Toy Clearance at Target!

If you happened to see my post on the Stacy’s Savings Facebook Page yesterday, then you know that Target marked down their clearance toys to 70% off here in North Texas yesterday.  I had to wait until nap time to go to my stores, but I still managed to find a few things for the present closet!

January 2015 Toy Clearance Changes

This year’s Target Toy Clearance seemed to start about a week earlier than normal, and the selection was much more slim than in prior years.  I went to six stores yesterday, and they all looked picked over.  They almost looked like the stores used to look several days after the big drop.  There were a few really great deals, but I wasn’t fast enough to get the things I wanted.  I saw a KidKraft Dollhouse be wheeled out by one lady at the first store, and I never saw any after that.

My January 2015 Toy Clearance Finds

Still, I managed to pick up all of the Toy Drive Toys for next year, plus a few gifts for nieces, nephews and friends.  I even found a few things for my kids’ birthdays.

Everything was 70% off except for the Tangled Leap Frog Game.  That was 50% off.  I spent $137.14.  The retail value of these items was $466.08.  That’s a 71% savings after my REDcard!

Other Target Clearance

At the last store, I wandered around all of the end caps in the rest of the store and found a pair of black pants for my son at 50% off.  I used the 20% off Clearance Clothing Cartwheel and paid just $4.56 after my REDcard discount.

I also found this Frozen Olaf dish/cup/bowl set for my daughter, and 2 Frozen plastic straw jar cups all marked 70% off.  I paid $6.50 for these items.

I’m going to swing by a couple stores in Dallas today, but I’m not expecting to find much left.
