I’ve been reading about Warby Parker for a while now, so I decided to give them a try. Let’s find out how my Warby Parker Free Home Try On went!

What’s Warby Parker

If you’re not familiar with Warby Parker, they are the online glasses & sunglasses company with the trendy & affordable frames.  They offer single-vision frames with lenses for an unbelievable $95 each, and sunglasses at $150.   They also donate frames to people in need for each frame sold.  How great is that?

The Free Try On Program

One way in which Warby Parker makes online-ordering of glasses & sunglasses easier is that they offer a Home Try-On program FOR FREE.  You read that right.  You can get up to 5 different frames for free, to try on at home for 5 days.  Free shipping both ways.

I’ve been needing new glasses for a while now, and I finally made an appointment with my doctor to get my new prescription.  I ordered my 5 frames to Try On At Home, and this is my experience: IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME!  I loved it!

My 5 frames (3 glasses, 2 sunglasses) shipped right away, and actually showed up at my house on Monday (I ordered on a Friday).  WAY faster than I thought it would be.  It was fun to try on the frames and ask my friends and family which ones they liked.  The frames I chose were: the Chamberlain in Whiskey Tortoise, the Reilly in Marzipan Tortoise, the Finch in Striped Molasses, the Piper in Woodland Tortoise, and the Durand in Whiskey Tortoise.

I knew pretty much right away which pair of glasses and which pair of sunglasses were the winner.  I quickly popped the return label back on the box and gave it to my Mailman.  Easy Peasy.

Ordering My Glasses

Ordering the glasses was super easy.  I just snapped a picture of my prescription with my phone and uploaded it to the website.  Then, I selected my frames and that was it!  I paid with my Health Savings Account, and I’ll be able to submit to my vision insurance company for some reimbursement.

Paying $95 for cute Prescription Glasses with FREE shipping beats paying $400 for designer frames at my eye doctor’s office.  And I was able to do it all from home!  It’s awesome!

Check out Warby Parker Home Try-On Program for FREE today!  There’s no obligation to buy!  They have options for non-prescription & progressive lenses as well as single-vision.  There are a ton of different styles, including the new Daydream Collection for Spring.  You’ll love it!

Can you guess which frames I ordered?  Leave your guesses as a comment.  After I get enough comments, I’ll edit the post when my glasses arrive!
