Target Toy Clearance July 2013 Changes
This year’s July Target Toy Clearance is running a week late. Last year, it was last week. The kids & I got out early to go check it out at the Super Target, but came back empty handed. I had read later in the day that some stores did go to 70% off, so on Friday, I headed up there to see what I could find.
We went to the Little Target by my house this time. We found a bunch of great stuff marked 50% off, and a few things marked 70% off.
My Target Toy Clearance July Finds
These little Farmville Games were marked down to 70% off and only $1.78 each! One is Memory (which my son is obsessed with right now), one is Old Maid, and the other is Guess Who (one of my personal favorites)! These are great for rainy days! I can’t wait to play them!
Target Toy Clearance Strategy
I made a list of things I wanted to get that were marked at 50% off. I’m hoping they are still there on Thursday! Unlike past trips, I’ve only got a handful of gifts to purchase, so it’s not going to be as much fun, or as impressive a trip, as it usually is.
Ibotta Offers for Extra Savings at Target!
While we were at the Little Target, I decided to take advantage of some of the Target-Exclusive Ibotta offers. They have new bonuses now where you can make extra money! One of them was an extra $3 for purchasing 3 items from the Target-exclusive frozen items Ibotta offers list! That’s $3 in addition to the amounts you get for each offer! There’s another one where you get a bonus $2 for buying one more Target-exclusive frozen item on a separate day, so we’re going to go do that today.
I didn’t take a picture, but here’s what we got:
Green Giant $1.66
–Earned $.75 from Ibotta
Ore-Ida Simply Olive Oil Wedges $2.84
–Earned $.75 from Ibotta
EVOL Macaroni & Cheese $3.99
–Earned $1 from Ibotta
Received $.25 from Ibotta for purchasing on July 25th (Xmas in July Bonus)
Earned $3 from Ibotta for redeeming 3 frozen item Target-Exclusive offers
That’s a total of $5.75 from Ibotta for those three items! I saved $.42 by using my REDcard, so after Ibotta cash, these three items cost me $2.31. That’s $.77 a piece!
