Hey there everyone! Thank you so much for being such loyal readers of my blog! I wanted to let you know, in advance, that I’m not going to be around much for the next few weeks. We bought a new (to us) house, and we’re moving in gradually starting this weekend!
It’s very exciting and completely daunting at the same time. We haven’t moved in over 10 years, and the last time we moved, there were only two of us, so it’s a bit different. I’m not quite sure what to expect, to be honest!
Over the last 3 years, I’ve showed you how our family saves money by couponing and finding the best deals on the stuff we need. All of that saving and frugal living has gotten us to this point. By now, we’re used to Meal Planning and Smart Shopping Strategies, and that will only help us as our housing bills increase.
The Blog While We Move
I’ll be taking a break from the blog while we’re moving & settling in. In the mean time, make sure you’re following me on Instagram for the latest updates!
New Blog Series: Frugal Home Remodel!
One last thing, (and I hope you guys are going to be excited!), when I resume “active blogging”, I’ll be back with an all new Series: The Frugal House Remodel! That’s right, we’re moving to a fixer-upper, and boy does it need a lot of upping! But first, it needs a lot of fixing, which isn’t as much fun.
HGTV isn’t real life, and our home improvement projects don’t all happen at once. So I’ll be writing a bunch of posts detailing the little (and sometimes big) projects that we’re tacking throughout our new home. I really love interior design as well as saving money, so I’m going to show you how I achieve high-end style for a low-end price! Hopefully, it will be something you guys can incorporate into your own homes! Get excited! It’s going to be fun!
So, do you have any awesome moving tips or things you wish you’d done? Tell me in the comments! As the foreman on this job, I’m looking for all the help I can get!
For now, I’ve got boxes to pack. Thanks for reading, I hope you’ll stick with me through this transition, and I’ll see you on the other side!
